Situated close to the Spa town of Royal Tunbridge
Wells, the Crown Inn provided an excellent base for
touring this wonderful part of the world. In the 1600`s
the spa was discovered and it soon became a fashionable
place visited by many famous people including royalty.The
Pantiles are worth a visit and the special shops including

of the towm.
An exciting way to visit Groombridge is on the steam
train, the Spa Valley Railway from Tunbridge Wells.

Across the field from the Crown is Groombridge Place,
an attraction with lovely gardens and an Enchanted
Forest that is magical for children of all ages. It
is open from April to October and holds a variety

How To Find The Crown
Take junction 5 of the M25 (A21) to Hastings.
Take either the A26 (at Tonbridge) or the A264 (at
Pembury) through Tunbridge Wells, leaving Tunbridge
Wells on the A264 towards East Grinstead. Just after
Langton Green (4 miles from Tunbridge Wells) you will
see signposting for Groombridge. As you come down
the hill into the village, The Crown is on your right.
